We sailed for more than 8 hours en route to Salem MA from Provincetown on Cape Cod. Twenty-five percent of that time was with just one sail, our colorful gennaker. Winds were from the south, at 8-10 knots. We averaged between 5-6 knots of boat speed with the gennaker. Just wish someone had been nearby to take a photo of us!
